My usual 5 minute pattern when these offers come up... initially yeah why not? begin waiting around a lobby, (yawn) begin thinking hey I could be playing a game rather than waiting -> back offline again. Nice to get a freebie for those who want to dip in, not as dubious as the free week of ps plus they used to offer with trap door auto rollover at the end to a subscription.

Really don't see the point of this since I already have PS+ since it's, well, more or less mandatory really.

Meh...

It still disappoints me greatly that Sony locked multiplayer behind a paywall.
Even worse is the fact that as esports becomes bigger and bigger I fear Sony etc will ramp up the price as much as possible.

Yes. I remember that in my GT6 online races. I would like to see an only on line multiplayer subscription, maybe 20 euros annually, so if you dont play on line in two months, that dont hurt you. I usually dont play the free games either.

Your partner: "Would you like to go somewhere nice tonight for Valentine's?"
You: "Sorry dear, PS Online is free this weekend. Maybe next weekend? smiles "

They should offer a cheaper version for online only minus the games

Since i got gamepass i dont bother with ps plus but if it was only 20 quid a year i would keep it going, even though i doubt i would use it much.

I don't mind that the players who use it pays for servers etc and the players who don't care for it does not have to pay for it.
