for some reason my playtv won't record while playing gt5? is it just me? or is it like that?

Some games will do that. probably because GT5 is using all the memory and power.

Have to admit I have had a couple of "issues" when I was playing GT5 and PlayTV was meant to be recording something. There was a recent update for PlayTV to take it to v2.00,and that's when I first noticed it not recording. However since the latest update of v2.02 this doesn't seem to have happened again. It wasn't everytime, only once or twice which annoyed my girlfriend as the programmes were for her.

Might be worth deleting all PlayTV data from your PS3 and doing a full reinstall.

possibly could be if im low on space that may be why too perhaps ? it will record only if in play tv but if multitasking it wont... it use to, and yes til i got that update too it stoppe doing it not sure wwhy, i just realised same thing in another game i play it did same thing so may be my space

When downloading the recent PlayTV update, my settings reset telling it to buffer live tv and enable background recording. Maybe check them too
