I'm new on here BTW!

I've played all the incarnations of GT. I think GT4 is the hardest, in terms of twitchy handling cars of all the games.

The main problem I'm having is with my Jag xj220. The only way I seem to be able to make it stop quickly enough is to crank up the brake balance controller, front & back.

The result of doing this is a very tail happy car under braking, where the slightest camber change can cause the car to swap ends, unless you are lucky to catch the spin.

If anyone has any tips on how to correct this and a possible complete setup I would be extremely grateful!

try a lower setting on your brakes like 6 front 8 rear and turn your LSD deccel up to about 25 . to give you a more precise solution i would need to know what you have on it and what its current settings are and what your driving style is

It's got a Stage 3 turbo and Racing medium tyres. Other than that, all settings are standard.

I like a small amount of drift, but not too much.

Will try adjusting the LSD and reduce the brake balance.

Thanks so far!

I'm trying to tame this beast as well. I love the styling of the XJ220 and the fact that it's so rare. How ever even in GT3 this car kinda fails to live up to its legendary driving experience and price tag. It always seems to under steer and does take for ever to slow down. For $780, 000 I want a car that handles better than this thing stock.

I'd also like to be able to get the LM edition to actually be competetive with other LM series cars. I too would appreciate some info on these cars.

I drive grip style with a touch of drift here and there when it works for the given corner. I'll use any combonation of settings outside of Super Soft tires. Those are just to good and not practical in any racing situation except drag racing.
