Hi All,

Ok, heres the deal, I am stuck, I can't get golds in B-12, the 205 T16 dirt one, and B-14, the Skyline 350GT, El Capitan one.

I have tried to do it for days, and days, but although I come close, I am just short of the gold time.

Any tips on how to do these 2 tests?, my Playstation is at risk of being put through a window

I have looked at the demo's of them, and also am following the dotted line, but still no joy.

Dan.

If you decide to throw away your ps2, I'll take it :). Lighten up, just relax and take the time to learn the tracks and all the turns. Then from there you can chose which turns to go faster/slower, ect.

Try other license than. It might help when you go back and redo it.

Well, only thing I can say is practise practise and practise.. Just look carefully at the demo runs, and look where you lose time to the demo run. Eventually, you should get the gold medals there.:)

I agree. watch the replays as they seem to help, but put them in the view that you drive in. The dirt one was hard for me too, but I eventually made it. Practice different lines, but try to keep the car from turning too much. You will know if you turn too much because the sound of the engine will drop drastically. I seem to do it by hugging that first turn on the inside, then dropping to the outside of the track before the big turn. I would make my turn well before the turn so that by sliding my font right tire would get into the grass on the inside of the turn, but the angle of the turn wasn't too much. I just stayed in 3rd gear, let off the throttle only right as I turned, and stayed in it.

One thing I've found helpful for golding tests... do it as much as you can so you can almost do it with your eyes closed. If you still haven't gotten gold by then, leave the playstation for about an hour. Go outside, go for a drive, take a nap... then come back. You'll get gold within 5 tries. :)

Unless you're doing the Camaro up the hill test at Seattle in GT3... that thing is a lost cause. :sly:

I seem to remember getting gold on that in about 6 goes... :scared:

1st get a ghost... and keep beating your ghosts until you've won.

Practice! :)

205 T16 dirt one. Rally car. You must use understeer rally technique to gain good cornering angle. When entering corner release gas, brake, turn wheel, and step on gas again and try to hold drifting angle with a bit of understeer. With straith or oversteer You will loose an angle - rally car.

Skyline is much hardlier. Use the same technique. Try to follow the best line with a bit of understeer.
