hi!this question is for all the people out there who actually went through the Type-R Meeting in the Amateur League more than once,so here goes...

I've been playin' through the Type-R meeting with my Spoon Civic and I won a Mugen S2000 (the one on the top when it selects your car) and it had a yellow body and a black hood =D,so I continued to come back through the Type-R Meeting more and more so I could get different colored Mugen S2000s,so I could start my own racing team with them (only each of them would have totally different parts and settings,so they technically wouldn't all be the same ^_^) so I was just wonderin' if anybody out there knows if there's more colors than these-------

Indy Yellow Pearl
Monte Carlo Blue Pearl
Silve Stone Metallic
New Formula Red
Grand Prix White
Midnight Pearl


and yes those all have black hoods ^_^,but I also won a regular S2000 and it was in this orange color,and I won another one in this lime green lookin' color,so I was just wonderin' if maybe there's maybe 2 more Mugen S2000s that I don't have yet..and that's an orange one with a black hood and a lime green one with a black hood...but if you've done this before and you know how many different types of colored Mugen S2000s,then please let me know =D,thanks! :D

I won and still own a Mugen S2000 that is black and also has a black hood.

I too have done the Amateur Type-R meeting several times to win special cars, I like all of the cars that you win. But just so you know, the Spoon S2000 is a bit better. Lighter, and mods up higher(444hp). I have a white Mugen S2000 fully modded with 380hp. My favourite thing about it, is that it revs all the way up to a clean 10,000rpm.

Now, maybe you can help me.....I have done that championship several times and these are the cars I have kept and won, atleast for a short while. 2 Spoon S2000's:Purple and Black....3 Mugen S2000's:White, Red and Black.....1 S2000:Orange....1 NSX TypeR: Dark Grey.

What I want to know is if the NSX Type-R comes in any other colours besides Dark Grey. I know you can buy it in either Yellow or White, but I find it to be one of the best (when fully modded) NSX's and I want one in a cool colour.

nope,you cannot,repeat CANNOT win the NSX in a different color than the dark grey one that it gives it to you in ^_^!I've won that car soooooo many time tryin' to get another Mugen S2000,which I personally like better than a Spoon S2000,cause the Mugen S2000 looks cooler and I'm not a fan of speed too much,so 380HP is just about right for me =D (my Shigeno Version Trueno went down to 380 HP from me practicing on my drifting with it so much on free run ^_^,it used to have 387HP,but now it's down to 380HP =P) and the only Spoon type of car that Ilike as of the moment would happen to be the Spoon Civic!it looks really nifty eh?I think so,hehehe,it's got the white body and black hood..just like my Trueno!it's like a panda colored Civic!hehehe,well...the thing that's slightly different that I had to get used to about the Spoon Civic is that whenever you push down on the accelerator enough,the controler starts to vibrate and it makes it slightly harder to turn (if you have Medium Tyres) so that's what I also like about it though is that the power from the engine is so great that the turning is slightly difficult unless you either let off the accelerator slowly or *whispers softly* use the handbrake.....the handbrake is EVIL!!nah,just kiddin',hehe!I just don't use it anymore since I'm not just an Amatuer to drifting anymore..but before I get into a huge *****ing session,no,you can't win the NSX in a different color in the Type-R Meeting in Amatuer League...congradulations if you read this whole post!!

Damn, I really wanted one in a different colour.

I am not a drifting fan, but I do think that the Shigeno Trueno is one of the most undiscovered cars in the game. It has downforce capabilities, it has such awesome turn in etc etc.

I have only been able to get a top speed of 191mph. BTW it has 387hp.

I also think that the Spoon Civic is one the best FWD cars in the game. mine has super softs and I have used it to win the Amateur Type-R race maybe like 3-4 times. It also has 340hp, and I cant resist its ULTRA high rpms!!!

I think that my joy goes up exponentially with every extra rpm.


I love when bigger engines rev high. One of the most rewarding is the NSX Type-R's 9,200rpm redline......
 
wow!my Spoon Civic lost 6 horses for gettin' over 375 miles on it (by racing in the Type-R Meeting!and yes,I changed my oil after every championship that I do) and I lost 1 more horse by entering in the Type-R Meeting right after I changed the oil and I got over 400 miles then,so I don't know..but I do have to agree with you on the statement of the High RPMs,I love High RPMs as well..the Shigeno Version Trueno is one of my FAVORITE cars,but I'm sooooo close to gettin' 2,000 miles on it,but I'm tryin' to get better with other cars ya know..which my Spoon Civic though,right now,has over 500 miles on it..and the total mileage through the whole game that I have is (this is an estimate) a lil bit close to 23,000 miles =D,I know that's not much compared to the HARDCORE GT3 players,but I try =P,but there's just one thing I don't understand though...I can't hardly get any more miles added to my Total Mileage!it only adds it to my car and I don't know why...cause everytime I finish the championship,I look at the Total Mileage and it shows the correct number,then when I get an oil change,the miles that I had added on there disappears..why is that?well,in any case,I'm gonna load up GT3 and look up the game status and let ya know what it is and you can let me know what ya think about it,hehe...oh yeah,one quick thing...the highest top speed I've ever hit in my Shigeno Version Trueno is I believe 189.5 MPH,but I've never hit 6th Gear with it ^_^!my friend thinks my gears are set too insane,but I think they're fine,I just don't like gettin' up to 6th gear though,but that's my own personal feelings towards it..and by the way..my Shigeno Version Trueno..when I said it's never hit 6th Gear,I was talkin' about on ANY track..even the Test Course =D!

Well, you can see in my sig, that I had 33,000miles, now I have about 35,000

You are a drifter right? After seeing Garn Dorifto 2 I was really inspired to learn. I took out my 383hp RX-7 Infini III on Apricot Hill, and it was pathetic, I just couldnt do it, without spinning.

I dont want you to go thru the whole process, but if their is anything major that I am missing, let me know. Is 383hp too much?

The only time I ever pulled of a sweet drift was with a 1065hp 3000GT VR-4. I believe I was racing at Trial Mountain with no traction control. It was along the yellow stripes before the tunnel into the long straight. It looked awesome and I havent been able to duplicate it with any car...
 
well....like you requested,I won't explain the WHOLE process...I try to explain it to you the best way I know how to..so here goes *takes a deep breath* whew....

okay,first off,if you're racing with the RX-7 (FC),then it will be slightly difficult to drift with it..I found that out the hard way -_-...well,anyways,the best thing that I can tell you is take the TCS all the way down to Level 0,and take the ASM down to Level 1..then put racing soft tyres on the front of the car and sports tyres on the rear of the car...now 383HP isn't bad at all!no way!I detune all of the cars I practice drifting with down to at least below 500HP,cause like I said..I'm not that big of a fan for speed ya know...cause it's not gonna help me too much when I won't even hardly be able to use it ya know?but do what I said to give yourself a start..and the best course that I like to practice drifting on so far (cause it has this awsome corner in it =D,hehe) is Tokyo R246 and that's cause it has that pretty long corner in it..here's the one I'm talkin' about,just in case you don't recall what corner I'm referring to...when you first start out and you have to slow down a pretty good bit to make that right turn,then go for a lil bit,then take a left,then take a slight right corner,then there's that kinda short,but long straightaway,then there's that LOOOOOOOOONG right corner where you can either practice drifting on,or you can let your inner tyres grab the inside and you can pull a "gutter technique" and exit the corner faster than usual..oh,and one quick thing..if that whole "giving directions to the drift corner" didn't help you...then look up on the map and it's the half lookin' circle in the upper-left portion of the map...so good luck to you and I hope that what I've told you helps out at least some ya know...oh yeah,if this makes a difference,when I was an amatuer at Drifting,I practiced on Midfield Raceway,so you could just go there to start off,then move up to Tokyo,cause at Tokyo,they basically have that LOOOOONG corner to drift on..that's why I go there ^_^...well,tell me how your adventure of learning to drift goes!

there's lots of drifting stuff around if you search.
there was a huge drifting fad during the summer here.
 
yea, look for Cudaman's posts. He's da one who made the Gran Dorifto videos. He has a great setup for his RX-7 FC. I just love it, but since it has sim tires on it, it's VERY hard to control. If ur patient enuf, you'll get good and eventually pull of REALLY good drifts ^_^.
 
yeah,but just one thing though...it may be hard to control,yes,but puttin' Simulation tyres on any car will make it have the "potential" to drift...I was tryin' to refer to him a way to drift without doin' it like that ya know...no offense at all for what you posted Ting,but if you tell him to put Simulation tyres on any of his cars,it'll be easier for him to learn like that rather than undergoing the practice of other types of tyres to drift with...hell,the situation you gave him about putting Simulation tyres on his car was the same as just tellin' to pull the e-brake with medium tyres (or would it be slicks?) but anyways...I might wanna go check out dude's settings to his FC and compare them to mine..so thanks for the tip =D
