My PS3 is in deep 🤬 after I accidentally switched off the main power supply while my PS3 was running. As a result my PS3 freezes once turned on and doesnt load any games. It cant be turned off the normal way as it also freezes. The only way to shut down is by turning off the button on the back of the console.

What do I do?

Also, is the savedata linked with my PSN account? what I mean by this is will my garage load if I log into a different PS3 with my PSN account?

Any advice is appreciated.

Version: 60GB fat PS3

Thanks.

I think if you boot it up in safe mode you can do a system restore, or something along those lines. That may help.

I can't answer your first question but I can answer your second, your savedata isn't stored online so your garage cannot be recovered by signing in on another PS3. Unless you have backed up your data on a memory card/stick or Playstation Plus your garage is gone.

The File System has been restored a number of times but still no luck...

This is not GT5 related so move it elsewhere before someone else does.

I can safely say that my PS3 is back to life. All it needed was a system update followed by formatting the hardrive. Thanks for all your help....
