PM box query

So I just went to delete my PM's as it was 95% full, mainly from infractions, but I noticed something when I was there.

"You have 4 confirmed and 1 unconfirmed private message receipts."

Just wondering what this means? I don't recall saving drafts or anything like that

You can tag private messages in such a way that the system records when someboy reads them. "Confirmed" private messages are those that have been read; "unconfirmed" means that the message has been sent to the recipient, but has not yet been opened.
