PM Notices Not Following Through...

I have the option set to have a pop-up box whenever I get PMs... however, for about the past week, I haven't had a single notification (even though I'm still getting PMs), on both my Mac and the PCs at school. neon_duke has also has the exact same problem...
 
I'm still getting them just fine, it is probably just something wrong with your settings. If you already have it set to notify you, select to have it not notify you, and then change it back again.

Actually, I've gotten your ticker in the mail several times recently not to mention various PM's from poopie sn00pie and I haven't received the pop-up box for days either. Hmmm...
 
How come I don't get the ticker anymore? I know about the management change, but I should still get it...
 
Maz-- Read what the ticker says in my sig at the moment. ;)

Jordan-- I tried that last night, to no avail (and I just recieved a pm today, so I know it's not working... and this is from a PC).

I just activated the PM pop-up box too, if someone would be so kind as to send me a test message... :)
 
After further investigation on this, there have apparently been others out there who have randomly experienced this problem as well, most of the time while using the same version of vBulletin we are running now. Although I can't promise anything, hopefully it will be fixed when I upgrade the forums to vB 2.2.9 with GTP5.

In the meantime, you might want to try playing around with your security settings and clearing your cookies to see if that improves anything.

Actually, it seems like you never even subscribed to the new Ticker, you sly dog you. ;) Anyway, I've added your name to the list. :)

Oh, oh! You're upgrading to vB 2.2.9? I'm pretty sure I could look this up but I'd really like to know about the changes concerning uploading files in 2.2.9: Is it going to be possible to upload numerous files at once, instead of having to make several posts?

No, you're thinking about 3.0.0, which I am afraid to report still does not make use of that feature. :( 2.2.9 won't have any new features for the users themselves, just corrected typo's, bug fixes, and security patches.

There isn't an add-on or anything anywhere that someone made to upload multiple files?

I bet you could find one, if you tried.

Yeah, but he was subscribed to my ticker, so he wants to still be subscribed. Hence the line about management change. :)
