pocket bike brands?

hi, i want to buy a pocket bike. but all that i've seen are the cheap $300CND ones, the chassies look very weak, the plastic pieces don't even look like they were made properly, in other words i've yet to seen a quality pocket bike. there are soo many immitations out there.

i'm looking at an ad where a guy (about 5km from where i live) has a honda fila edition pocket bike for sale with some upgrades. he paid $1000CND, and he's asking $850CND, i figured i can negotiate and give him $800CND cash.

question: does honda actually make pocket bikes? because i'm looking for something durable and strong.

I think the closest thing to a pocket bike Honda makes is their 50cc mini dirt bike. You could probably modify that. Its strong enough for a adult to ride.

I don't know of any major brand making pocket bikes. Sort-of underground still.
 
Just google mini motos. If its a blata then the quality will be very good but when things break and do go wrong which will happen it will be expensive and hard to get parts.

Just buy a yamaha PW90cc or a honda equivelant instead as those are easy to get fixed and are very durable and much more fun than mini motos.
 
i'll check the chassie code and see if it's a blata :lol: if i go look at it.

i really wanted a suzuki gsxr 600 or even a honda f2 or f3, but because my uncle used to race bikes and he died, and my cousin does stunts and he's been in the hospital soo many times... my whole family says no. so i figured a pocket bike would be fun.
 
here, he posted a pic... it's not a blata. he said he paid about a $1000 for it and he's aksing about $800... has a couple upgrades. how can it only weigh 43 pounds?

I doubt he paid 1000 for something that is non name brand. If you go on ebay and put in mini motos you will see plently like taht on sale for lot less.
