Pokémon Black 2 and White 2

EDIT (10/8/12): To my knowledge, the game is in stores now!

The Base Story
Taking two years after the events of Pokémon Black and White, the Unova region seems to have changed a lot. Gym Leaders have disappeared, with a few new cities and Gym Leaders taking their place, two notable ones being Homika (I'm not calling her Roxie), the Virbank City Cym Leader and Cheren, the Aspertia City Gym Leader.

Another thing I know about the story is that all three members of the Tao Trio make an appearance here, and Kyurem has the ability to literally fuse with either Reshiram or Zekrom, before (or after, I can't remember) turning half of Unova into a frozen wasteland. I think it had something to do with Kyurem being purposefully drawn looking like an incomplete Pokémon.

My Questions
* What did you think of Pokémon Black and White?
* Are you going to buy this game? If so, are you willing to shovel out the money for both versions?
* What are your hopes for this game?
* Did anyone watch the Kyurem movie? If you did, what did you think of it?

* What did you think of Pokémon Black and White?

Love it!!! I always love Pokemon whenever it comes out
they pretty muh started from sratch and that really got my sister in to it.

* Are you going to buy this game? If so, are you willing to shovel out the money for both versions?

I will get it on the day it comes out, my first paycheck and Nintendo will be the first to get hold of it Ironically it is the exact same day! And as I am bad at decisions... I'll get both

* What are your hopes for this game?

I don't have any hopes as I know it will be EPIC!!!!

* Did anyone watch the Kyurem movie? If you did, what did you think of it?

It hasn't come to the UK yet, but looking forward to it December CITV have got it and my sister is counting the days away

From what I can tell, if you've been watching the anime on Cartoon Network, Dawn from D/P is back with the group. But, I wouldn't overall think of it as starting over as much as I would...just another generation of Pokémon for me. And, of course, I always love a new supply of Mons.

Got it today and... LOVE IT!!!!!

1. yes I saw Dawn is back Good to see a familur face but I don't know what to think about it. Seen it in Japanese and must say that Meloetta seems to be the main charcter now. Look out Ash

2. I got it today £75 pound well spent (that includes the walkthrough book).

3. You won't be disapointed... It's like the rest just with Pokemon from Ponyta years ago 👍

No, i've got the white 2 version, and a friend got the black 2 version. That's enough for me.

I've got to the 3rd city, with the poison gymleader, but i've got 4 pokemon I want to get to lvl 20+ in this area. Does anyone know of a good spot to train and battle the pokemons around that area?
Taken all trainers and just running around hoping for a rare pokemon to battle to give more exp.

Having trouble training for the elite 4. I guess that's what I get for going through the game 10 levels under-leveled.

Yeah, training alot on the way is alot better in my opinion.

It's ok now. I beat them with my highest leveled one being level 58 at the end, and my lowest level 53.

To be honest, if you get Genisect from the Wifi there is no need.
I recommend just battling any trainer otherwise use the EXP share and battle as many Pokemon. A big help I know is GET DARMANATAN his a fire type in the route up from that city

I've got Arcanine and just passed over that big bridge and into the next city. (Can't remember the name at the moment).

But to be honest, I really miss starting with Charmander or Squirtle or Bulbasaur, like the good old Pokemon games.

The only Pokemon of the newer generations that I really like is Lugia.

So you want a Water/Grass type to beat the gym It's a hard one, completed it on the train Good thing I chose Oshawott.

Here is the Driftveil City gym's Pokemon for the Gym leader Clay:

1. Krokorok- Weak against Water, Grass, Ice, Figthing, Bug
2. Sandslash- Weak against Water, Grass, Ice
3. Excadrill- Weak against Fire, Water, Fighting, Ground

I didn't use Zorua from the Ex Team Plasma base but you can if you want.

They are in the Virbank Complex. Something that may be better than that, if you guys are interested, is a level 35 Volcarona you can get in the Relic Castle any time after you get strength.

Nintendo’s response to the Pokemon PETA situation

Animal rights group PETA kicked off a parody against Pokemon (specifically Black/White 2) last week, complete with a playable Flash game. The organization was targeting the popular franchise because it promotes animal cruelty and linked abused animals to the Pokemon in the game.

“Pokémon are treated as unfeeling objects and used for such things as human entertainment and as subjects in experiments. The way that Pokémon are stuffed into pokéballs is similar to how circuses chain elephants inside railroad cars and let them out only to perform confusing and often painful tricks that were taught using sharp steel-tipped bullhooks and electric shock prods.”

So how does Nintendo feel about the situation? The company sent out a terse statement a few days ago:

“Nintendo and The Pokémon Company take the inappropriate use of our products and intellectual property seriously.”

PETA are hilarious with their antics, haha!
