I noticed this in a poll about uber-SUVs. The end caps of the poll bars wrap where the poll is too big for the screen. I'm guessing you need a <span> with the style containing white-space: nowrap; inserted there.
It only happens when there is a large image in the poll option. It's about the screen size. I've only just noticed it after downsizing from 1600x1200 to 1280x1024.
Oh. I have never seen this and I look at the weekly contest every week. Most of them have large pictures. It should just extend your web browser window so you have to scroll to the side.
I've just noticed that it's become broken again in GTP8... If you have a look at the current weekly photography competition in 1024x768, you'll see the poll bars wrapping.
Also, as a courtesy to your non-image-enabled visitors (yes, there probably are some), and in deference to the W3C's recommendation that you have ALT text for all images, you may wish to consider writing the percentage into the ALT text for the main part of the poll bar.
