What cars are you currently using?

At around the 550pp mark the NSX Type R is a pretty good choice, hook it up with RKM's tune and you'll have a beast of a car.

Alot of people also use the pair of BMW's (CSL and GTR) RKM also have a tune for the CSL but I've personally not tried it.

racecars > normal cars for sure, for 550pp i think the calibra touring is the absolutely best car without powerlimiting a lmp or something.

seriously, the calibra is a beast, i had some tests going on nordschleife with cars from 550-650pp in a hotlap and the best was surprisingly the w12 nardo with 6:14 and the stock calibra was the lowest pp car in the test and finished 25/40 with a 6:36, more than 2 secs faster than a fully tuned m3 gtr. i didn't test every possible car from 550-650pp as you can imagine, but what i'm trying to say is:
GO FOR THE CALIBRA!

I'm currently working on tuning a car for every 10 PP from 400-~600. They're not in my tune shop yet, but will be soon.

I've done comparisons of cars with basic setups and Sports Soft tires at 500 and 550 PP. Here were the results

Pick from the top 2 or 3 cars and you should be competitive.

I'm currently looking at 400PP cars.

With a max 560 pp, I'm using a Mazda RX-7 (RW), Cusco Subaru, and Tuscan Speed 6...

Ok, Thanks. I'll tune my BMWs and buy a NSX Type R.:D

The one reason I was strongly considering whether or not I should post that previous post. But yes.

EDIT: Also, OP, I can tell you that the Nissan SILVIA K's Dia Selection (S13) '90 is an absolute beast at 400 PP, 450 too.

What? Are you saying that you were not going to post tunes because I'm a constant irritation? :( :dopey:  :P

And yea, the S13 is nice, but only drive it if you need a cure for insomnia cuz it's so boring you'd switch off almost instantly :D

Yeah, it's boring, but when racing online, boring isn't as much a matter as in A-Spec.

Yes! Briefly. Going 10MPH. On SSR7. On racing soft tyres.

 We need the super soft tires from GT4, right? They had just so much grip..........but a lifetime of sometimes less than 1 lap........ :D

And I remember you driving the ZR1 RM on Suzuka. I must say, driving style was a bit strange.......sideways in every corner (how is that possible with this car? ) .........but you were much faster than I thought. Really good for a DS3 driver.

Lol the sideways bit was due in no small part to RJ's setup. What he basically did was take a scary fast car, and give the rear wheels about as much grip as comfort tyres would give. Which is why I was ranting so much in the room about it being a 900hp pillow and how RJ can tune without a PS3 but can't tune this car properly. And thanks, I ain't that good though… Oh, I almost forgot to say, you're the fastest doctor around :D. He beat a Toyota Minolta thingy around that track, and that guy was:
a) a rammer
b) very quick
👍 no wonder you could drive your yellowbird.

Oh, that guy was very bad. He just couldn't hold the line.....

But vette was very good and it was fun to drive with him. He just needs to be a bit more consistance. And I used a self tuned suspension with the basic of his ZR1 and C6 tune. It's something between + a bit of my knowledge.

Don't forget the Ferrari 458

Yea, that's the main reason I only use his tunes on a few cars. Too……edgy, but it seems he's going to be back, if only for a few updates…

Anyways……on topic.
The Renault Clio V6 seems to be an overlooked contender, as is the RX7 for 500-550PP racing.

Is that the mid engine Renault your talking about Doc?
If so in my experience it gives the yellowbird a run for its money as far as control issues go...very fast and liable to swap ends faster than the wheels spin.:D

Doc? Wow! I'm a Doctor! Wooo!! Lol, wrong person mate! And I don't know actually, but from what my friend vett'e said when he tuned it, it's quite a car.

Me? That's Onboys post. But yes, it is a mid engine car.

Yellowbird is funny and fast as hell on the straight. But it eats rear tires and it can't compete with other cars in the same PP range. I win races with it from time to time, but just when it's a lobby with only DS3 users.

EDIT: Argh! Onboy was faster!

Facepalms self.
Yep I got mixed up there probably.to many rotations in the Renault...last time I tried driving one I thought I was back at GT Auto's car wash drying off.:scared::eek::lol:

Will complete and post shootout results today.

That would be nice! :D Curious to see the results.

I delayed hoping Bri-Y would complete testing and post results.:irked: Since that didn't happen I'll just use the results from the 7 drivers who posted times for all 20 cars.

Oh and how does the 69 Corvette convertible stack up in the 500-550 PP range? Was one of my favorites early on in the premiums.

Sadly, just not enough grip.

The "CHEVROLET CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE (C3) '69" have a very good grip mister slump and is very competitive. Are you talking about the "Corvette Stingray L46 '1969" ?? This one ok. Need more grip .
