Well these are a few of the minor supercars. Which would you get if you had the cash? They are about in the same price range and same class. So which on for you?
Me i love the Porsche 911 GT2 but the Ferrari 360 Modena will be the car. :D
 
GT2, but it was a close call. I'd go for exclusivity, considering I don't know too much about the Gallardo. I really don't like the 360 anymore, it kinda wore out when I see 'em every week. Gallardo, I'm guessing might follow that trail. I chose the GT2 because of the power. That's the simple answer.

Yes real hard GT2 power Modena for its color :D :rolleyes: Gallardo for its exclusivity. So if i re think this i would go for the Gallardo.
 
I'd prefer the 911 GT3, it's a bit more appealing to me than the turbocharged versions, even if it is down on power.

Or maybe the 360, I guess I'd have to test drive both :p
 
im a porsche fan, but i think the gt2 dosn't have the best front end, a little flatt. i like the 360 spider, but not the modena. i looove the body of the gallardo :drool:
 
This poll is crap. The 911 GT2 is miles ahead of the Gallardo and 360 Modena in terms of performance. If you want a fair fight use a 911 Turbo or maybe a GT3.
 
The poll isn't crap, your vision is. It's not about which car is better performance wise -

"Which would you get if you had the cash?"
 
In a way, this is not even close. With all due respect to Ferrari and Lamborghini, I'm going to say the GT2 because it has good horsepower and handles doggone near like a race car. But then, it's also the most expensive. I love the Modena because it is pretty inexpensive, in terms of an exotic. The Gallardo has 500 horsepower, all-wheel drive, and is in the same gene pool as the Murcielago, its older brother. But, I'd say that the Porsche would be a good pick, despite the price.
 
I would take the Lambo. The 360 is too common. I also think that it isn't (in its non-CS guise anyway) very true to the Ferrari brand. I think it's a bit "lite". Perhaps that's just because I think that Ferraris should have 12 cylinders.

I know I'm going to get flamed for this, but I think that the GT2 is quite close to being a riced 911. I think that those who have mentioned that the Turbo or GT3 are more at home in the comparison are on the money. However, the Lambo has beaten both of those cars in comparison road tests.

The Gallardo is a special car. It has a special engine, and it's a real indication of the way that Lamborghini can start to make really great cars under Audi stewardship.

Finally, I would take the Gallardo because I love Lamborghinis, and I would definitely want the 4WD.
 
GT2. Looks, performance, practicality and price.

Modena is attractive, but almost 25% more then the price of the Porsche (here, anyway). For me it doesnt illicit any emotions that the F355 or 550 do. An anonymous Ferrari in my book.

The Gallardo is not an authentic Lambo in my book. Porsche and Ferrari had to refine their machines themselves, and it has taken Porsche decades to get the formula down to a T. The Lambo had to rely on a "people's car" manufacturer to get the formula right. Something has been lost. It's almost like a Lambo isnt a genuine article if it doesnt have some imperfection.
 
Gotta go with the Porsche. Even though the Italian selections are very sweet.

Porsches are too common here and i see a red 360 Modena driving around every so often - never seen a Lambo before so that's my choice.

And it is Motor Magazines' (Australia) Performance Car Of The Year - or PCOTY as it is also known as. :)

I'm a Porsche nut, i love everything about the GT2, it's insane speed, it's beastlike characteristics, it's looks and even it's sound (which is actualy less fantastic than the GT3).
But im also of late a lover of the new Lambo's. They have gained much from Audi, and it seems for the better, and Audi seem to be much better than before right now aswell (RS6 rules).

While yes Motor magazine DID give the Lambo PCOTY you also have to remember that they weren't testing any Porsches that year, and if you look at the past results, Porsche is dominant PCOTY winner. Not to say the Lambo doesn't deserve the win, in fact i reckon the Lambo would've won even if a GT2 was in the comparison.

What it ultimately comes down to is the fact that im a Porsche nut, and the GT2 is a VERY raw and pure Porsche, absolutely insane.

Now if the comparison was Porsche Turbo vs Gallardo it may have been different, but as pointed out before, the choice of cars in the poll is not what we are discussing.

As for the Ferrari... heh... don't like Ferrari very much.
 
Mustang man: have you ever driven any of them? It's seems strange to me that you would pick a car totally on the commonality of it.
 
No i haven't driven any of them but if i had to buy one i'd buy the Lambo, not only because of its lack of numbers here, but because of its looks, power and a few other things.

If i had to choose between the following then the story would be different.

- Lamborghini Gallardo
- Ferrari 360 Modena
- Porsche 911 GT2
- R32 Nissan Skyline GT-R

I would (seriously) choose the GT-R. It is my #01 dream car which makes it the most obvious choice.
