I have decided finally that literally every car i have sounds better when looking out the back. The tranny whine is a little muted and the exhaust is a litter louder and deeper, all good things. So i wonder if we could get PD to swap the sound? what do you think?

The sound mixing needs sorting so there's more exhaust and engine noise, don't care if that's not "correct" as the whine on some of these cars is horrendous and if yiou watch onboard cams on youtube they don't sound"correct" in game anyway!

And more BASS!
 
theres nothing wrong with the bass when i play, some cars i have to turn the bass down 2 levels as its too boomy, do you have a sub?
 
hood view sounds the best, you can hear the turbo sputter, its my favorite sounding veiw. Also is you dont just floor the gas your car can sound good. i keep my car at low revs in most gears. i like the raw deep bass sounds



Edit: i want Shift 2 sounds
 
i got a 5.1 surround running off the optical output.

If PD looks at this i hope they dont pull the its not realisic sound card. I own a 02 WRX with exhaust and it sounds nothing at all like my 02 dose in the game. In game its way to high pitched. Even looking out the back dosnt help the subies that much. the exception here is the 01 prototype it actually sounds cool.

2.5 liter US Spec or JDM 2.0 L?

The 2.0L will not give the deep burble-y note many are accustomed to.

The Impreza 22B is prob that closest sound you'll get to the US Spec 2.5l Flat 4.

Yep, the sound was mysteriously better and without wind noises cutting into the sound of the engine, I wouldn't mind PD switching the two around at all.
 
us 2.0l wrx, but its still got the boxer rumbal
