GT5 is the strangest game that I have ever bought. Some aspects of the game are incredibly good. I love having weather, day night changes, rally etc. I love the premium cars and I am more than satisfied with the number and variety in them. The physics are very good. I really like being able to see where my friends are racing and join them with a couple of clicks (even though it still doesn't work properly all the time). On the other hand many of the decisions that PD have made are truly baffling. I was new to the series with GTHD concept and GT5P and I'm surprised that they dumped leaderboards and pp. It's nice to have the lounge and public rooms but neither is good enough. Where are password protected rooms? Those are really needed for racing leagues. Unlike many, I see potential in B-spec. It could be fun if the races had strategy to them but it has turned out to be more about cheerleading your driver or worse just a way to get credits and cars for leaving your ps3 on burning electricity. I have a hard time categorizing this game because PD did a great job about some things and a horrid job about others. Overall, what PD got right makes me love this game but it could have been so much more.
 
I voted satisfied. But, as mentioned in the first post, it only refers to offline/online game balancing.

If only online gaming was well structured....
