With 2017 coming to an end, I'm pretty sure everyone enjoyed FH3 and so far FM7. So since Fh4 is only around 6-8 months away where do you think it will be set? Me personally, Japan. One: a lot of people are asking for it two: Japan is a leader in car manufacturing with the biggest names in the world Toyota, Nissan, and Mazda and three: has a HUGE car culture with many styles of racing, race tracks in the country itself and many car cultures. But thats my opinion. But whats your opinion?;)

As much as I would love Japan, I give it 35% chance FH4 will be in Japan with the other 65% going to California. Just my personal thoughts on the subject. Both have big car culture, but California would offer up a larger variety of environments. City to the south (L.A/San Francisco/San Diego), Desert to the East (Death Valley), Coastal roads to the west, Farmland in the middle and Mountains to the north.

I’m not convinced it will go back to America just yet. I think with things like widebodys, the resurgence or JDM cars in FH3 and FM7, the way car culture is followed by the team and fans. I think it is all looking at Japan. Touge, drift, culture, car popularity, environmental diversity. You could add things like bosozoku, split rim choices, more widebody options. Would be perfect for what Horizon aims to achieve.

Base it around Tokyo with some smaller outlying towns, and given how they down scaled Austrlia for 3 you could even encompass. Mount Fuji and Hokkaido for some rally style off road action in the forests.
