I had a poll in the B-Spec forum about how and why people play B-Spec.

So this poll is about if you would be disappointed if B-Spec was purged completely from GT6, and the entire focus was A-Spec.

I would not be disappointed.

Personally, if they had 3 prize cars available for each A-Spec race series, and you had to use different cars to win all 3... well... that would make me still play a lot of A-Spec... for a while.
 
I too would be disappointed to see B SPec go. Aside from getting credits to buy bigger cars etc. I find it useful to see the track layout.
 
As long as we can save during the really long endurance races such as the 24h ones and can save during championships, I will forget it even existed.
 
I will dance in the streets if B-spec is removed. B-spec is a big waste of time and space that could be used for better. And NO, there isn't anything they could do to make B-spec fun and exciting to play.

I wouldn't be disappointed if they removed b:spec as long as we could earn cars online for example driving 1000km online gets you a random car or driving on an american track could win you an american car.
 
I think this is somewhat of a moot point. B-Spec will never go away because Kaz loves it. Gran Turismo has never been about giving fans what they want, its always been about implementing Kaz's vision for the game.

Of course all of that could change if Kaz gives the keys to someone else ... :)
 
I have two B-Spec drivers named Neal and Bob and well they both suck of course. Biggest waste of time and resources in a game ever.
 
Why are we talking about GT6? Has there been any legitimate source about this yet? Or we all just gonna play the what if, I hope for game?
 
I could honestly live if they ported it feature for feature from GT5 with no more dev time spent on it. If it gets so much as one new feature while the A-spec problems people have been being so vocal about are not addressed it will again like GT5 be a game I only own because some one bought it for me.
 
Get rid of B-spec I say. I think the vast majority would rather spend driving the cars themselves than watch what essentially is a glorified replay mode. And I mean its not even like the B-spec is well done to the point where it might grow on you, its poorly thought out, limited and just flat out boring.

It can be there for all I care, as long as its not taking dev time from other things.
 
B-Spec is fine, if you don't want to play it.... DON'T! There's really no point in talking about whether it should be in the game or not. You aren't required to play it, and besides, it's super easy.

You should play this instead:

God no, get rid of it. Then we might end up with a descent game.

Trade B-spec for a descent AI system, realistic damage, qualifying, more tracks and premium cars? Yes please
 
I don't know what is B-spec!!now I remember,it's the most useless part of GT5!!

And once again, its not the fact that B-spec is there that bothers people, its the fact that other much more important features were done half as#ed or left out completely in order to pump resources into B-spec

I like B-spec, it's cool to know that Bob is earning credits/cars while you're doing other things, like having a life. But I understand those who dislike it as it is now because it is a frustrating / boring experience most of the time.
 
I would be slightly, as I believe it can and should be a useful and fun part of the game. Centering half of the GT Mode gameplay around something which is very frustrating and doesn't involve you driving any cars however is what I want rid of.

If it wasnt for prize cars I wouldnt be playng b-spec whatsoever. I get so annoyed everytime my wife watches me play B-spec, realises whats going on & starts laughing at me & telling me how quote "STUPID" my little game is.
 
B-Spec is cool, you just need to be patient, when you have money and cars, that you got doing the A-Spec you start the B-Spec, and the Endurance Races are a lot easyer.
And it gives much money.
