I don't think you guys understand.
Many of us are aware of the good things that Forza does, It's because of Forza and Codemasters games that many of us were hollering about visual and mechanical damage for years. Because of Forza, we've been begging for livery editors and authentic performance increasing bodykits, as well as the Auction House and Storefront.
And you forgot to mention that Forza has you name your tunes.
We're getting there. Race Mod has returned, if for a handful of cars, and we're hopeful that this list will grow with coming updates. PD did notice the value of the dynamic racing line. But you have to understand that the online server system has to be beefed up a lot by SONY to handle what we want from it. It couldn't even handle GT5 itself when it launched for a few days! And this is expensive. Microsoft is as rich as a small nation, and has been investing in its online network since the 90s. Needless to say, SONY has some catching up to do on that.
But SONY knows what the game is, and slowly but surely, I expect the capacity of Gran Turismo's online structure to catch up with the ambitious playground he alluded to in numerous interviews.
Anyway, to the topic at hand. I'd much prefer a tuning tutorial online. I'm not sure what you're suggesting here. But if you mean that our tunes would be stored on a GT server, I don't think an online library would be much good if it was
everyone's freaking tunes. And one thing I've learned from Forxa's tune sharing is that no one drives the same, and tunes for controllers don't work with wheels and vice versa. I haven't had a tune share that I liked, so I toughed it out and learned to tweak cars to suit my style.
