What is/was your favorite Seasonal Event thus far?
(Challenge/Car Selection)

I ask this because it seems that Polyphony Digital has been "testing" out different formats for the seasonal events. (^IMO^) :)

I don't wanna hear your 'ideas" on what the Seasonal Events "should/should've" been, I just wanna know which was your favorite.


Feel free to post your opinions here/explain your choice, and please don't start any flame wars.

#7. AI is crap in the Ferrari F1s, but I <3 the Ferrari F1s and being able to race them and get a reward is awesome. :)
 
The first set, it was just right, you didnt need to spend lot of time on it and it wasnt easy or too hard, loved the SSR5 one, I liked the Fiat 500 race in Tsukuba in the 2nd set too, but the one with the RX-7 was frustrating,:yuck:.
I would vote for a mix between set 1 and 2 but since I can't I will choose set 1.

First 2, but voted for 1st. Nice mix of a challenge (at least for a DS3 user like me ) and good rewards.
 
Chose the first one, but wasn't the Ford Focus challenge on the second set, since that set is my fave I think? Can't remember, hehe. Anyway, the ones with the restrictions were my faves, really made it a challenge for some.:)

Hope to get some more like the first two.:)

I have never raced anything better than this race in GT5. With a Skyline R34 and winning with 0.1 second - amazing... nothing comes close.
 
This poll is useless as PD's hearing are impaired. So sorry. They just do things in the wrong way - deterioation instead of improvement.

The first batch. Hard and challenging but not impossible with the right car, mods, and setup. To give people with less skills a break they could allow one level up on the tires. Still Race #1 was the best to me. The current version is like additional A-Spec events, they have been very disappointing, other then the extended time period.
 
people only like the first one because they didn't have any expectations

since then everyone expects the same
 
Pretty obvious... the best was the first one.
It was PERFECT because:
1) it was HARD to complete
2) it had hp/cars restrictions
3) the amount of credits and xp rewarded were perfect

Propose seasonal events like this every 2 weeks and you have a wonderful and challenging game.

p.s. I've done all of them,but I can't remember how many of them were like the first one. Maybe the 2 and 3? Anyway they were great.

Two first events had limits but the seasonal 2 limits were lifted when seasonal 3 came around. And i agree on them being the best yet. Driving a NASCAR on Nordschleife was insane. :)
 
I liked the second one best before they lifted the restrictions. Loved that Nascar on the Ring :)
 
I liked the weeks 1 and 2 the most - the difficulty was awesome, gave one a feeling of accomplishment the rest of the game simply lacks; also week 7 due to them trying something with a hint of conception.
 
I've liked all of them so far for different reasons so was unable to vote.

- The initial limited SE were a good challenge.
- The specific premium car SE were fun and had a degree of self competition, can I win this stock, if not, how much will I need to add?
- The latest lot are also good fun as there is a wide variety of stock premium cars that make these races challenging and an even wider range of standard cars that make this a laugh (a mildly modded matt brown Volvo 240 in the FR events... good fun!).

I'd be happy if they rotate these formats so we get something little different every couple of weeks (with the same mix up of high and average xp/credit payouts). 👍
 
Hi all,

I agree with most of you all, the first set was by far the most fun & challenging. The Nissan gt-r was a really good race, but I couldn't do better than second. The new set that's live to play now, I do enjoy them but feel they should be permanent, as proper a-spec events, including coming with a prize car.
 
Second one before the restrictions were lifted. That nascar race on the ring was the most fun I've had yet.

Some of the others might have been just as fun for me if they had the restictions. I think the One with the Ford GT could have been real fun. I think that one had a good set of races.
 
I completely missed the SE1... was too busy doing A-spec at the time I guess. I think I would pay to be able to unlock them after reading you guys !
 
I was a fan of the first batch. Unfortunately the timing for them coming out couldn't have been worse as I hardly had any time to devote to them and only completed (gold) one event.

I probably spent the most time with 2 & 3 but by that point they had lost the restrictions and I've barely bothered with the one's since. I gave the newest batch a try but the power recommendation is too vague. I did the FR set in the FT86 Concept because it was the only FR I had with less than the recommendation and I sailed through them I'm guessing because it's on sport tyres.

yep, that was definitely my favourite seasonal race... great fun
 
I liked mots of them
SE1&SE2 for it's restrictions
SE4 for the VW on the Ring
SE5 for the funny Schwimmwagen
SE7 for the F1-Races

Only SE3 and SE6 were a bit lame.

A Multi-Choice Poll would habe been nice ....
 
SE1, particularly the first one, with the Fiat 500.
I love driving underpowered cars.

PD, bring back the restrictions
 
Loved SE1, really challenging. Once they lifted the restrictions, I just used to do the last race in the season to get the highest payout, they lost all their appeal. I think I've done one race out of the first event in SE7.
 
I picked season 7 because of the F1 races. Took me a while to learn to control the car to be able to pull off a win.

Though the money and exp from the previous races was nice. Overall I enjoyed the season 7 F1 races the most.
 
Liked #6 the best, getting opportunities to get a great pay out in credits & XP saves alot of time in grinding, whilst getting extra races - I really like seasonal events.
 
Seven just because of the Ferrari F1 races, which are the best inclusion in the game so far.
 
The very first batch was the best. They were difficult, but not impossible. I golded them with a sixaxis controller. The 2nd set was good as well, but for me the Rx-7 on Tsukuba was a bit too difficult (The only one I couldn't gold). The best I could do was 2.5 seconds behind the leader. Perhaps letting us use Sports Softs would have helped? Anyways, I liked having 1 car to use with restrictions. It made the rewards even better when you finally got that gold.

The non-restricted ones were a gift.

The newest ones are good, but could be great with some restrictions.
