Just curious to see what cars you all used to finish up the Polyphony Cup series. I did the Roadster endurance last night and found it to be a lot more fun than I thought it would be. I guess using a 'normal' car every once in a while can inject a different kind of racing excitement into the game.

So anyway, I'm using the Toyota GT-ONE Road Car for this series and it's way too easy. I almost feel guilty... almost. I mean, I was after all using a F1 car to complete as much of Amateur and Beginner as I could.
 
i think i will do the roadster enduro as soon as my brother finishes the one he is on, what all cars can u use?
 
Im planning on using the Ruf GTR for the race. Everyone says to use the NSX but I have seen 4mula do the race and win with great results with the GTR.
I hope this helps in giving you an idea on what to use.

what turbo upgrades did he have for the rgt?
 
I have used BOTH of the GT1s (Nissan and Toyota), the xj-220, and the Lotus 350.
I had the most interesting time with the Lotus. It's fast, but not overwhelming. You will need to win on pit strategy, and driver skill. Makes for an enjoyable race series.
 
Gt one is a rather nice car but I preffered the gt2 version.
 
Probably should say the toyota gt one race car... might get confused :P
 
the R390 is more fun.
Lotus 350, you have to be really good with oversteer.
 
I made it easy for myself and used the Speed 12
 
I just used the Jag xj220, not super on the handling but the speed helps.
 
I will probably use my Lancer if it is enough to win...I dont have the liscene to do it yet so I dont know what to use...
 
I ran the NSX Type S Zero, and with the superhard tyres it was pretty easy.
 
If you can win it in a NSX then I can win with my Lancer...
 
aha i used a r34 v-spec II, with hybrided r390 racecar engine with a loctite chasis!!! HECKA TIGHT!!!

I would think so - the small rally cars struggle a bit for outright speed, but with the tyre advantage you should be okay.

I tried a few races with a Subaru Legacy B4 but the big fella's just too heavy - it can manage top 3 finishes but it can't live with the NSX in that series.

I wonder what else would make that series a good one?
 
I used the Pagani Zonda C12S. I kept the stock tires and didnt touch a thing. After the first 2 races I almost quit to try a car with a bit better handling, but decided not to because I was winning. After the Polyphony Digital Cup I am the Zonda Master and once you know the kinks of that car, you can really fly.

I'm guessing that secret is 'brake early, brake hard'.

I must try that car in stock trim, rather than the 'about 8 kajillion' bhp it has with the stage four turbo.

Yah and it has to do with kicking the tail out by tapping the brakes while starting the turn (normally a 'no-no') and then cutting in on the perfect line maximising its rear weight bias oversteer with 100% throttle held on before and of course after apex. I find that most mid/rear engine cars are initially the hardest to drive but after practice are the fastest. Strangely no 2 are exactly the same.
 
That technique should be a bundle of fun with the steering wheel...

Yah I dont think you will have a problem. Just remember to use the $10,000 tires T2 or whatever.

try a fully tuned Lotus Esprit with 1000+ bhp
its almost worse than the zonda :D
