What in the world is this all about? Folded all three races and got the bronze for the championship?

Oh, I just figured it out. I bailed on 3rd race to switch cars and that kills your full championship goals, then I went back to race it, won it but I screwed myself, lesson learned!?!? darn....
 
I would check the picture settings for your TV, the bronzes might just look gold or something.
 
Nope, went and did it all over again with my murcielago and won it, got gold this time so, don't leave a championship without finishing it to change cars, bad move, lots of grinding for nothing but credits.
