Ask me, man.

IGN has ranked the top 50 video game makers, and surely enough, PD has made the countdown.

They even managed to sneak into the top 25.

As much as GT5 may have stumbled (and it did), PD has proven to be a great developer. Let's hope GT6 continues to strengthen the legacy.

congrats to PD.
If they didn't have so many bugs and "half-assery" go on during the life of this game, they would have ranked much higher.

That's nice :dopey:
I think they would've been in the top 15 if they didn't rush GT2 and GT5. :indiff:
(BTW, it's all Sony's fault :grumpy: )

I'm surprised by this, but at the same time I feel like they deserve it. They really are a talented bunch, as they have the reputation to always push current technology.

GT5, at its finest, is a true technical achievement. The only problem is its inconsistency, but I personally think it's not because they're not capable... just limited in time, sources, power, etc.

What a silly list. Valve behind Atari, of all companies? Capcom in the Top 3?

Oooh :O, a congrats to PD 👍
Let's hope they continue creating better games, and not make us dissappointed :p

While those lists are pretty silly and don't mean anything, I hope people realize that just because GT5 was disappointing it doesn't make PD the worst developer ever, like many people on this forum seem to think. GT1 - 4 were all great (prologue too, for what it was), quality games and it doesn't take much work for PD to be great again if they make some good decisions in the future.
