This is the only proper series I have yet to complete, and wondered what car and settings most people use for it...

I've started it a couple of times with the Aston Martin Vanquish, but can win in it quite easily, so am looking for a closer race...

If you want a close race, I think you could try it in a Shelby Cobra. Or a Toyota MR2 , Honda NSX ( capable of creaming AI ) , R32 Skyline? I'm not sure, but you could try these cars for a change. Do a search and I think you'll be able to get most of your questions on the PD Cup Pro answered. ;)
 
About the third thread on this in three days. :) Two have asked exactly the same question...;) Look in one of those for my responses.
