yet another screw-up.
ok, i was doing the Altezza series in Amateur last night and, after doing the save / load trick countless times, got the Altezza LM Race Car ( :cool: ) i actually got it the first time, but it was blue (ugly) so i had to do it a millionmore times to get the red one (nice). anyway, when i saw my prize car, immediately after i had won it (you know, on the red backgournd) it had yelow rims. eewww....thos only look good on Subbies. i thought to myself, "i've raced against lots of these cars, both colors, and their wheels always coincide with their paint." so, i went to my garage to change the wheels, and they weren't yellow anymore. :confused: not that this is a bad thing (saved me $500), but it serves to further prove how weird PD's programmers can get.
 
yea...stuff like that happens...it's definently better than GT2's errors and stuff...
 
There's a Red :toyota: Altezza LM? Never seen that yet :D
 
yes, as well as the mirrors, some stickers, and the spoiler.
both editions are mainly grey, with either red or blue details.
 
i still don't got that car, how fast does it go? anyone go the 1000meter times for it?
 
Its a bad arse car for sure.
Ive always loved the car and in actuality, started the Euro (clear tails) movement, hence the altezza name for them.
Playing the gt2 game, I fell in love with the Altezza LM race car and have loved it ever since.
Now that the car is available in the gt3, I love it even more.
Matter of fact, the car simply rocks in real life as in the game. So many tuners are buying the thing (rwd and now stick available) and making them the ultimate drift car.
Anyway, sorry for the long post, just my opinion on the ride.

tuning only the trasnsmission, i got mine to do 0'17.862 with a stage 3 turbo.
by the way, that thing has MASSIVE top end. around 245, by my estimation.

little late post but there is also a Altezza Race Car with Yellow decals and Yellow rims, PD probably forgot to show 3 diff pics of the car won and used only the Yellow one ? :)
 
Yea, I got one with yellow Paint and yellow rims and spoiler, but it was red when in my garage.
 
The Altezza is probably the best LM Race Car and definitely one of the best Race cars in the game. The only problem is its height if you like the view from behind the car, which I use, it is hard to see stuff that is coming if you are unfamiliar with a track. Mine has red accents.
 
)Talking about LM's how is that FTO?? cos i remember way back in gt1 and how the rexy was the best car in the game (pretty much) and then i won the FTO LM car and that was the only car that i thought was as good as the rexy (only bad thing was that it was ff :(
So that was my little history speech :D im just wondering on how good does the FTO LM go in gt3?? cos it sure does look the part! :eek:
 
After just saying that the Altezza is so great, I have to take that back. All of the LM Race Cars are different but equally good. You cant go wrong with any of them, and the 2 AWD LM Race Cars are extremely good. The WRX is freakishly fast and suffers NO understeer and the FTO is also insanely quick, but unfortunately I havent had as much track time with it. I used my WRX LM for Grand Valley 300Km's and It is such a well set up car. Overall, LM Race Cars have the best setup to beat almost any car in the game besides the GT1 series race cars anf F1's. They are all VERY well worth getting. Just do Dream Car Champ in Amateur 4 times and you will have alot of them.
 
Whilst the FTO road car is front drive, the FTO LM cars in the GT series have always been 4WD. Great cars, though.
 
I like out of all the LM cars the FTO and RX-7 the most...i think there the funnest to drive.
