Help!

Trying to get ALL the cars and have got confused. Doing the formula GT championship but the cars i win are only ever listed as polyphony 1 or 2 i never seem to get numbered cars such as f688/s. Is there something wrong with my game?

There's nothing wrong with your game.
The PAL version has Polyphony 001 & 002, whereas the NTSC version has various ones with those funny names like F686/M...

These funny names actually mean something ya know. The first letter, F, stands for Formula 1. The first number, in this case 6, stands for how many valves there are. The next two numbers, in this case 8 & 6, stand for what year the car was driven. The last letter stands for the last name of the driver of the car, in this case 'M' for Nigel Mansell. So from all this we know that this car is a 6-valve Formula 1 car driven in 1986 by Nigel Mansell. Pretty nifty way of telling you which F1 car it actually is without getting sued, eh?

Nice one Fury.

Actually the PAlers have 1 car that is the same as the NTSCers, the 002 and the F688/S are the same. And the 001 is the 1995 Williams, we have the 1994 one :(

DÆNG!

First the PAL-version snubbs us for the DIABLO GT, and then they leave 4 F1 cars out of our game!!!!

The European producers should be glad they don't have an office in Liberty City (GTA3) 😈

Thanx.
What about F094? Does that have 0 valves? Or am I missing something.

Do you now that the 001 is the 95 Williams for a fact? It's just that to me, it looks extremely like the 94 Benetton.See here for reasoning I came out with earlier in support of this.

erm...i got the PAL version and im sure i've seen the Schumacer benetton
meh...so r u ppl saying there are only 2 F1 cars and i should stop trying to collect them and sell em off ?
