Polyphony001 Settings

Hi guys.

I'm running the Polyphony001 in the Gran Turismo All Stars series. It's been a great car with the stock settings for all the races, but now I've reached the Test Course and I just can't keep up with the AI  . I speed up, but then start to lose speed. I can't find a setup that allows me to at least match the GT-One Race Car for pace. I can draft him and slingshot past him, but he just comes back and easily passes me, which gets a little boring after a few laps.

Has anybody got any settings for this car for the Test Course that will allow me to go as fast as the car can go?

Cheers

I'm somewhat out on a limb here (US, don't have PAL version), but does the Polyphony 001 match up with the F094/h(s) or is it the F090/S?

If it matches the F094, the setting I used for the races were:
Autosetting at 39 and minimized the down force, final drive at 4.062. With these settings I turned a fast lap at 1'42.035 and averaged 142.3xx Left all the other settings at stock. I had to pit on an 8 lap schedule.

If it's the F090/S I can't offer any info. Sorry.

Best o' luck

Yeah, I know, I just wanted to get throught that championship quickly. Plus I'd only just won the F1 from an Enduro so I want to give it a test drive, so it fitted in just fine. In the end I just widened the gears a bit, lowered thw downforce to a minimum, and then just drifted with the R390 and GTone race cars for most of the race. I won easily in the end, as they all pitted and didn't need to. The tyres went bright red, but who needs great steering for the Test Track? The tyres were bright red for over half the race, and it made virtually no difference to my times.

The Polyphony001 doesn't have enough torque to accelerate when driving in very high speeds. There are better cars for the Test Course like the 787B, GT-One, R390, Viper GTS or Speed 12.

You're really right! I remember it was only about 40-49 kg/m.
Correct me if I'm not right.
It was pretty fun one time when I tried to do a wheelie with different cars. And of course I had to try Polyphony 001! I Just thought that there's nothing cooler than a Formula doing a wheelie! But nothing happened. The nose raised only a little but wheels were on the ground. Yes, not enough torque! :(
