does anyone know what planet some of these guys are from?
sometimes you have to ask yourself, why don't they just use tv screens for the more questionable times? is it just that they don't want the embarrassment of being proved wrong on the pitch?

yes Jay....some games in Scotland already have that and i think there are plans to introduce it to the rest of the UK....

have you noticed that the referres in scotland are sponsored by 'Specsavers'?...kinda apt dont you agree?

a bad referring decision can ruin a game or even a teams Europeans run...

mind you, Pierre Luigi Coligna (sp.?) played a good match in the Eng-Turk affair....

In Spain when referees do a bad work on the match we say that they go to the "fridge". Going to the fridge means that they spend 2-3 months without going to football matches.

yes, its not the standard...just a couple of experimental matches....but hopefully soon it will come into force...

i think the Fridge idea is good Sheron....i would like to see that happen here....:)
