You just got this from UCP, lol.

But he is supposedly doing ok.

He's putting up a fight against old age. Be awesome if he turned out to be the longest living man ever.

Yup I did infact! :D
Yeah he is a very old man. He is extremely important to the world IMO and I hope best of luck to him! :D

Apparently its the position of his posture because of fluid in his lungs. Combined with old age, his frail condition, lack of immune system, I doubt we'll have the same pope next month. Truly sad.

Truly sad? He's just some old fart that wears a white robe and a huge hat and mumbles.

I'm all for speaking your mind, but try not to come across as completely arrogant, okay? He's a religious icon and a symbol of faith for millions of Catholics around the world. Show some respect.

By the way, I'm not Catholic in case you were wondering.

I'm atheist. I don't really care. I'm sooo insensitive.

I'm the same Event, but I do feel sorry for him. He's got to be going through a lot of pain.

He's how old now?

That's the best thing I've ever seen you post, anderton.

I'm not a Catholic, but my mom is, and I go to a Catholic college, so I respect the Pope.

Hope he comes out okay.

Not likely. He'd need to live until 2040 to achieve that. He's only 84, the longest living person ever managed to hit 120 years old.

But Jesus is a religious icon and a symbol of faith to millions of Christians as well. Next time, why don't you get on someones case when they talk like that about Jesus. Mmkay?

By the way, I'm a Baptist in case you were wondering.

I don't want this to turn into an argument.

Hell I am not even Christian and I have respect for this man because of all the wonderous things he has done to people in need of help and such.

He was the most progressive pope the Catholic Church ever had. Give him that much respect, m'kay?

I happen to be a non-practicing catholic, and don't hold much faith in the church (never have, never will I guess), but I hope he comes out ok.

Well, a lot of people don't even believe Jesus was real, or that he was who the Bible says he was. Even so, if someone were to dare to say something as rude about him as what you said aout the Pope, I would jump on them just as quickly. Your post showed lack of respect and you shouldn't be surprised that someone called you on your insolence.

If you didn't want an argument you should have checked yourself before you wrecked yourself.

Interesting that all you had to do was say you're sorry, but instead you decided to try and justify your comments.

my mom's godmother or something is like 90 or 91.

she is as spry and able as a child. she walks fine. good posture, everything is pretty cool.

Being old doesn't mean you're automatically gonna be wheelchair bound. Hey, there are people who are in worse condition a decade younger than the Pope. It just depends on what someone will be exposed to and expected to do. Hey, the pope has a demanding schedual, that stress is gonna get to him physically.

Yep, old age doesn't necessarily mean there will be medical problems, lots of it is just luck of the draw (genetics wise), and how you lived your life. Heck there are even 100+ year old people who run in marathons! (I kid you not).

And as for the Pope, I have heard on the news that they expect him to make a full recovery, which is a great relief to billions of people. Even as an atheist, I have great respect for him, since he gives strength and hope to millions of people around the world, and is just an outstanding human being. It's great to hear he will most likely recover, and hopefully will be here for many more years to come.

Nobody was talking about Jesus, what's your point?

Maybe your parents are prejudice. I don't know, but you should respect everyone's beliefs.

Did I say anyone was talking about Jesus? My point was that if someone talked about Jesus like I did about the pope, Anderton should jump down their throat as well. Most people wouldn't care if someone spoke about Jesus like that. I said that to make sure that Anderton wasn't just being hypocritical.

I made a mistake and I want to let it die. Mmkay?

If you want to let it die, stop trying to justify it in EVERY one of your posts. Just apologize and be done with it. I agree this is wasting space and is getting ridiculously off-topic.
