Very well built cockpit, at least he has the courage and willingness to do it.

Nice job on the cabling too clean and all the consoles are on top meaning inside the cockpit wont be too hot.
Im not sure what so funny about the article. This is a sim racing hardware forum.

Thank you for the comments on my build, they are quite amusing. If you would like to see more pictures of it I have pasted the links below to photos.

The build is not completely finished, future plans are to cover the outside in fabric, and the interior in faux leather.

I have also started a page on insidesimracing.tv about the build.

I love it. thank you for sharing MR shambles, if only i have the woodworking skills to do it. planning to do an F1 coffin in the future, I could learn a thing or two from you regarding routing and structure build.

My wife laughed at the thought of me doing that.

:), I did my first rig on angle bracket from hardware store, first she had her doubt when I show her the material. after it is finish, she's actually surprised how practical and clean it was.

Depends the size and tidiness of the work, I think they will be surprise if you built something really nice and compliment the game room.
I can see why MR Shambles leaves his in wooden colour. I bet he's having as much fun building it as well as driving in it. - love that Gear placement . now all it needs is a Handbrake for rally 👍 👍 👍 :)
