The Porsche 911 is Porsche's flagship model and has been produced from the 1970's. The 964 was the second generation model, being sold from 1989 until 1994. It was the first 911 to be offered with Triptronic transmission and AWD and was also the final 911 to have a removable targa roof until the 997. The car received the internal code name (Type 964) and is used by automotive enthusiasts to distinguish this 911 from future models. In 1992 Porsche unveiled a lightweight, rear wheel drive, version of the 964, dubbed the "Carrera RS". It was based off the Carrera Cup car and featured a revised engine, lightweight flywheel, automatic LSD and track orientated suspension with lower ride height without power steering (Although RHD UK models still had power steering). The Clubsport NGT is a road going version of the Carrera Cup with a stripped (and painted) interior, roll cage, Recaro seats (with full racing harness) & the Clubsport accessories. The engine has also been tweaked even further to produce 265HP.
