Based on the outgoing 991.2 rather than the new 992, Porsche's latest GTE racing is almost all new compared to the first gen 991 RSR. Compared to the previous gen car's 4 liter flat six, the new RSR has a 4.2 liter flat six with 515 horsepower (BoP notwithstanding), still mounted in the middle. The car first hits the track in September, at the opening World Endurance Championship round at Silverstone.
