The Porsche 911 GT3 Cup is a racing version of the Porsche 911 GT3. It is powered by the same 3.6 Flat 6 as the road car but has more power. I have chosen the 2004 model because it has the most power, producing 390HP and 390NM of torque, although it is 10kg heavier than previous models. The GT3 Cup debuted in 1998, using the new 996 GT3 as a base. The GT3 Cup was widely used in many professional racing events but it also got it's own racing series, dubbed the "Carrera Cup". It was a one make series for the GT3 Cup, and generally a support race for bigger racing series, and ran from 1998 to 2004 under the 996 chassis. It also ran during several other racing series events including the Spa 24 Hours.

Specifications (2004 Spec):

Engine: 3.6 Flat 6
Power: 390HP
Torque: 390NM
Weight: 1250KG
Drivetrain: MR
