Guys i really need some help, im considering the GT3 RS V2 and the G27 with a WSP.

The cheaper Porsche wheels seem to have not so good pedals as well as the DFGT, im considering this purchase as a one time thing, so i want to get my moneys worth and a full package.

I can get the G27 for about £200 if i use the 20% Logitech trade in program, but its never in stock at logitech.co.uk and everyone else is selling it at very high price.

Then i thought about the Fanatec GT3 RS V2 which i can get for £270 with Club sport pedals.

I do own an Xbox 360, but im not to worried, more after PC and PS3 functionality.

Am i making the correct choice? Whats your opinions on these two wheels?

Go Fanatec, the G27 is a good wheel though, there is chronic shaking and wobbling on the wheel when going on a high speed straight.

All im thinking is, i put £70 more than G27 and get proper pedals too, which is what im most concerned about, as the wheels seem to all be good themselves.

I have not experienced any wobbling or shaking on the straights. IMO the G27 is worth the money -- it's quiet, tight, and the pedals are amazing.

If you like to grip go with the Fanatec. If you like to drift go with the G27. The GT3 has a heavy feel to it. It's has great FFB but a little to heavy to drift with, even with the drift setting. Some people seem to like it though.

Even though i have a G27, go with the fanatec. It has been reported to have much better FFB, a smoother feel (when turning), and is the closest to having something with the Porsche brand on it for GT5 as of current

(I realize that we have RUF, but the GT3 is a Porsche Branded wheel :p)

The FFB does have a smoother feel, But the wheel has more weight to it. So when you have to make a quick counter steer it takes more force to turn it. Now the pedals are just great. The abs could vibrate more but that's my only complaint in the pedals. The price is pretty steep too, but the experience is worth it. I just wish they could lighten up the weight more for drifting.

Im not a drifter, just serious driver.
Ive never used a wheel before, only at an arcade machine at bowling once lol So in terms of grip and stuff i dont have anything to compare too, so it wont make any difference to me =)

As for wheel wobbling on the Fanatec, ive seen that either adding a deadzone (thats why G27 doesnt wobble, though i probably wont do this) or changing the Drift Mode to 1 or 2 fixes it.

Also with the WSP, do i need to mod the holes to mount the Fanatec? As it gives no option when buying it.

The RennSport Wheel Stand V2 comes to the same price as well, any reason to go for it over the WSP? Means i wont have to mod it afaik, but apparently the pedals slide off the back of it.

For £70 over the G27 im prepared to pay, the GT3 does include the Clubsport Pedals in the end.
