Because the hybrid system runs out of energy and needs to be recharged by braking.

Inside the fuel gauge in the hud there should be a battery that shows you how much you have left.

Hi , thanks for this, I have seen the battery and pillows ,red and green, some nombers, but the car slows down when the battery shows is full. Anyway I came first in Le Mans praing on the last lap some seconds behind the Tomogawc that both motors work well. For me this car is overcomplicated but ,of couse , fast when all works.
