The "normal" GT3 has no stripe. But the RS is only available in white / red stripe and white / blue stripe.

 Yes...yellow with red and white :odd: :odd: maybe if they'd been black brakes then that would've looked a little better. I don't know I'd have to see it first.

It's a bit of a nod to the history of the RS model.

Because the yellow brakes normally belong to the GT2. The Turbo has red and the GT3 has red too I think. I love red brakes but in the RS case black might look better :trouble:

That's not too bad with the black stripe. But the red with the red alloys and yellow brakes:odd: just doesn't fit.

Umm ... the yellow brakes are probably from the £8000 option box called PCCB to put it simply, they are special Ceramic brakes that takes ages to make but are really light and are massively powerful.

I think you should be able to buy the car in my signature's colors...

Yellow / black stripe

its a gt3 rs for gods sake. it could be purple and i would worship it just the same.

EXCELLENT CAR TRIBUTE

I'm sorry I can't have been clear enough. I think that the red stripe looks stunning. It's the yellow brakes that I don't like with the red. That's what I meant though I though I'd been quite clear with that.

Give me in all black then its okay. This scheme looks like ......

and chaser, does your friend really has one of the old Carreras?

I think it looks fun to drive. Will we be seeing this model in future Porsche Cup, ALMS and Le Mans races?

No, not the RS. The Supercup is driven with modified GT3's. The race cars in LeMans are GT3 RS and GT3 R but they are based on the normal GT3's.

In 2003, the 911s used in ALMS and LeMans were GT3-RSs, which were racing modified versions of the 911 GT3. Now for 2004 they will be GT3-RSRs, which will be racing modified versions of the GT3-RS.

That wouldn't make sense ;)

The only difference between the GT3 and the RS is that the RS is about 50 kg I think lighter, it's only available in white and it's limited.

The GT3-RS is closer to the race car though, simply because of that weight reduction. The GT3-RSR just takes it to the most extreme.

The GT3-RSR is the race car...

That's why I said it has the most extreme weight reduction from the standard 911 GT3.
