Problem with Porsche is that it will not happen in the Gran Turismo series for a while since Forza owns the Porsche rights. :irked:

Forza doesn't have the rights to Porsche, it's EA who has a stranglehold on the Porsche license. T10 lost the rights to Porsche in Forza 4 (before the DLC pack) and there's no Porsches again in Forza 5.

Yes, I missed those two .... and yes TURN10 had an agreement with EA back in 2011/2012?
👍

I think this is not about money ... :O

I'm not sure what it is, to be quite honest.

Some say that EA's license price for the Porsche's are ridiculous.

Others say that EA are simply reluctant to give away the Porsche license.

Such a shame too...Porsche's, forever doomed to be on...Need For Speed :yuck:

I have always assumed that EA no longer wants to sub-licence the Porsche rights but would not want to admit to it. The only option in that case is to make it available at a prohibitively expensive so as to price yourself out of the market.

...............EA had Porsche license since from the early days of Need for Speed franchise...more specifically NFS: Porsche Challenge on...PS1. Yup, that far back. Turn 10 just happened to sub-license a handful of Porsche road cars for FM4 (methinks just to screw with PDI) but that was for just one game. You can check out some Youtube promo vids for FM4 - you'll eventually run into one "behind the scenes" kak where a rep from EA appears to talk about this "unprecedented" inclusion of Porsches in Forza franchise....
