Too much blur.. If you can't chop and have to hide your mistakes in blur, I'd suggest you concentrate on something else. Otherwise get rid of the blur.

Try using Wind next time for the background, it has a better effect. Do Wind from left and depending on how fast, you determine the power.

Here's a tip;
In real photography, you don't get 100% blurryness in a picture (well, if you're any kind of a photographer). So, when you blurr the whole picture to simulate motion it looks bad. Next time, try either blurring just the car, or just the background, because when you blurr both it looks horrible.

blurryness is created by two things, DOF (Depth of Field) and exposure time. When you are taking pictures of moving cars, you have to decrease the exposure time so that you dont get blur (exposure time is how long the shutter is open exposing light to the film, if an object is moving fast, you get blur because it was in more than 1 spot while the shutter was open). To slow an exposure setting will get you "motion blur" which looks absolutely nothing like the blur you have, you just like gausian blurred the whole thing....... Other than the aweful blur its pretty nice tho... just thought I'd give u some pointers...



(btw, dof is what makes the things in the background of a picture blurry and the things in front crisp, you can change the depth of field and field of view so that objects close to the camera are blurred the further away they become, which obviously doesnt apply in this situation)
