The Porsche Panamera (type number 970) is a luxury four-door sedan. It is front-engined with two-wheel drive, with all-wheel drive versions also available. A shooting brake version concept of the Panamera was introduced at the 2012 Paris Motor Show called Sport Turismo.

Staying true to the “shooting brake” design, this Panamera Sport Turismo Concept boasts a more pronounced hatchback than the standard Panamera with shorter overhangs and a large bootlid. Lighting the way for this concept are four-point LED headlights and direction indicators and sidelights that are integrated in C-shaped lighting units called C-Blades. These lights are mounted in the large air inlets at the front end. The front end is pretty much a standard Panamera, but the lower portion of the fascia is slightly more stylish and features larger louvers on the air intakes than your standard Panamera.

The side of the Sport Turismo Concept is void of conventional side mirrors, replacing them with two cameras mounted in the side air outlets, these cameras send their images to a display in the cockpit. The taillights are much thinner than the standard Panamera and are connected by a taillight panel with the obligatory “PORSCHE” written across it. The brake light is positioned between the four-point LED rear lights. Topping off the re-modeled rear end of the Panamera is an adaptive carbon rear spoiler that produces improved downforce.

Powered by an advancement of Porsche's current hybrid system utilized in the Panamera S Hybrid, the Sport Turismo concept's new "e-Hybrid" system uses the 333-horsepower, supercharged 3.0-litre V6 and a 95-horsepower electric motor for 428 combined horses and a 30-kilometer electric range. As opposed to the current production system, this e-Hybrid setup prioritizes all-electric motivation unless the driver instructs the car otherwise. The Sport Turismo is technically a plug-in hybrid since the lithium-ion battery pack can be fully charged in as little as 2.5 hours when plugged into a wall outlet. Porsche declares that the combined powertrain is proficient for 0-100 km/h acceleration in less than six seconds, and that the Sport Turismo can exceed 130 km/h while running purely on electric power.

The wheels may be a little much for this car, but other than that it gets my vote 👍
 
This Panamera looks SO much better. The back end reminds me of an Alfa Romeo Brera.

I would have never noticed it, I ain't a Porsche fangirl and I have little to almost no interest in most of their models.

But who cares when their children looks so damn good? :p
 
This... actually looks nice. And that little spoiler sitting on top of the hatch adds a really nice touch.

THIS is what the Panamera should have looked like from the start. Not that god-awful, deformed-by-disease excuse of a blob.

EDIT:

Actually, this car kind of reminds me of a sport wagon. Or rather, a stretched hatchback. I wonder how this car would look like if it was "unstretched"... 💡
