But seriously, I've never understood this mindset. For the most part, the Porsche shape used in the 911-997 is dictated by its mechanicals (on top of that, the 928/924 look nothing like the 911).
Furthermore, the current Porsche design used on the 997 is much closer to the 993 than any Porsche made before it (and even that has a few differences regarding the cockpit shape). When that is taken into consideration, the Porsche design seen on the current 911 is the same age as the one seen on the entire Aston Martin range.
That being said, this entire thread seems to be like some kind of trainwreck, so I'm wondering whether I should have bothered.
