I don’t know if this post is a cautionary tale, a cry for help, or both.

I bought this car today. Hadn’t paid attention or even read anything about it. Was excited to take it out, so I dropped into the sardegna 15 lapper.

I got a huge jump on the start and was passing everyone when, after the first half lap I noticed the battery was half gone. Then I discovered that there is a kinetic energy recovery system, that charges the battery upon applying the brakes. It nit nearly enough to keep the car on the road without a charge.

Long story short, the battery is dead after one lap.

Am I doing so,e thing wrong? Or is the car a waste of 1 million credits?

EDIT: this only occurs in events with fuel consumption turned on.

Lmao

wait so you cant top up by pitting ???
You can top off, but the battery depletes after 1.5 laps and it takes as long to charge as it does to fill an empty gas tank.

Not seen solar panels in the upgrades either 🤣

I bought the Jaguar VGT and tried it for the exact same race with the exact same result! Dead battery after one lap, completely useless.

You think this is bad? Just wait until they come out with electric airplanes.
