from forza.net "Why, you ask? Well, next week will see the announcement of our next add-on pack for Forza 4. We’ll be announcing with a special partner, so keep your eyes peeled to our Twitter and Facebook feeds, as we’ll be updating you all the moment the announcement hits the Internet. Stay tuned!"

Could this be porshe, we can only hope. If not it still should be worth looking out for.

Would be nice but I doubt it. I think it's still too early. If we see Porsche i'm thinking more like January.

Interesting.

Special Partner could mean many things, from a manufacturer to a race team, etc.

Porsche would be nice, and not beyond the realm of things if the licence is up, and MS have obtained it and they had modelled the cars in advance.

A lot of 'ifs' in that last sentence however, but no matter what I'm getting it (well the season pass does kind of make that mandatory doesn't it).

Fingers crossed T10 are as generous as last time.

Scaff

If the exclusive deal had ended and re-opened this easily and we get the new 991 just a couple of weeks after NFS: The Run that would be pretty sweet.

I'm not buying The Run until Porsches are in Forza again.

On the subject of the 991, wonder how soon RUF get access to the new models and if they'd be inclined to do a milder job than their usual MO so we get 8/10ths of the stock Porsche model just in case we don't get the license.

Hopefully it is Porsche. That would be nice! But either way, I'm a season pass holder and will get whatever the add on pack happens to be.

The appearance of Porsche may get me to buy the Season Pass. I like a couple cars in the first pack but I'm not willing to plunk down for individual cars on a game that will just be rendered outdated in about 23 months.

Not wanting to spoil the party, but it's unlikely it's Porsche simply because if their contract has expired, it'd be at the end of the year, making this a bit early. I'd love to see them make a return, however.

My guess is Hyundai, since we know the Veloster is coming eventually, and there was also that design contest not too long ago. It seems they have a fairly tight relationship with T10, at any rate.

I dont care what it is - I just know I want it NAOW !!!

Jus Kidding but I am very eager to find out what it is - I like how they still like to give the community content and make it somewhat exciting.

Announced next week for sure, probably released on Dec. 6, since that's the first Tuesday of December, but one release so far didn't discern a pattern just yet ;)

My bet is on Hyundai as well, since they did the Genesis in F3 as a free dlc/promotion thing pretty shortly after the game came out. I would rather have Porsche but I've already paid so I'll take whatever comes my way. :)

This is very possible. They are also doing the Hyundai design challenge as we speak (ends this Sunday I believe). Only thing that gets me is that they made it seem like it has a big part to do with this months DLC. What cars from Hyundai could they possibly add? There sure isn't enough for an entire pack even if they include a bunch of old ones.

I certainly wouldn't turn this down :D

Other than that, the updated Genesis coupe, maybe, or the Sonata turbo, or even a Genesis sedan.

Another possibility is the ALMS is the special partner. That could easily fill an entire DLC pack.

They did, yeah, but I'm wondering if this could be referencing them in a more direct way, ie. an entire pack focusing on new ALMS cars.

Actually... I wonder if that'd be an effective loophole around the Porsche issue, sort of like how PD got the Diablo into GT3 by way of the SuperGT.

Who's to say that EA isn't now making Porsche available for sale again? My opinion is that EA didnt want to sell it to T10 before the release of FM4 so that The Run would be the first game with the new 991. Now that the game is out and the hype of having the first game out with the new car is over, they're willing to sell it again.

True. Sad thing is if I were Turn10 AND didn't have to or want to please my fan base I'd tell EA to shove their license where the sun don't shine. FM4 seems to be doing just fine without the license. HOWEVER as a fan of Porsche and Turn 10 won't be willing to do that to the fans , I don't think, if that's the case they'd probably play ball with EA and make it happen. Then again if it's true the license is going to be up at the end of the year I think the fans would understand waiting another month.

Maybe they have a special deal with the WTCC/BTCC and we'll get some legit cars for those series. That would be the joint right there. Of course , months of work I and the group I do Wednesday/Monday races with would go down the drain. lol

Except like how they also snuck a 996 GT3 in, that caused issues with the manufacturers & the cars were pulled from other versions of the game.
