Port polishing sileighty... question

I tried searching but came up with no answer... so... just wondering if anyone has noticed this.

I just port polished my sileighty, and it looked like the rev-limiter actually dropped :odd: I see more red bars (redline) on my gauges...

I am wondering if it is just the graphical setting that is making me trip out... (I wasn't paying attention to the gauges so much...)

Instead of displaying 0~7000 rpm on screen and having redline start at 6800rpm (which would display red line of 200 rpm) maybe the game is displaying 0~8000rpm and redline start at 7500 rpm? (which would display 500 rpm of red line, which maybe the the cause of me tripping out).

Can anyone tell me what the rev-limit is for stock sileighty vs. port polished one?

Thanks for the help :)

oh.. btw.. first post!
