First of all, I want to bring this car to your attention, and that is the Citroen C4 WRC:
Inside the cockpit there is an odometer which measures in metres and a gear indicator:

As you can see the car has traveled 1185 meters and is in 1st gear.
After driving half a mile, an extra 800 meters are on the odometer*.
*Actually the car travelled 797 meters, but it's close enough.
Using the C4's odometer, I set off to find some drag strips...
So far I have only found one. A half mile track on the Top Gear Test Track.
Start: Big white line under the number '07', just before Hammerhead
End: Big green 'X' just before the second to last corner
What do you guys think? Is this a good 1/2 location?
