Hey guys!

I'm thinking of modding my Driving Force GT to have a NOS-style toggle switch in the flat section of plastic just under the shift lever. I plan to use one that looks similar to this:

It will be wired so it is like a secondary "gear lever up" button, as I am not brave enough to break open the actual wheel itself...

Please give me some pointers on how to wire it and any ideas that you have.

Thanks! :dopey:

What are you going to use the switch for? I could see it working for the wipers. You need the wiring diagram.
Here's mine for a fan

I'm planning to use it for either E-Brake/Brake Hold in GT5, and nitrous in Need for Speed. I could use it for the lights/wipers/ignition in GT5 and other games too... :P

Thanks for the feedback!

Bump, anyone have circuitry diagram of the DFGT's shifter stick? Thanks!

I don't have a diagram but it's two SPST switches and three wires; one common and then one for each button. Get an SPST toggle, two wires and... Yeah. I'll see if I can find my DFP shifter buttons and post a photo but honestly it doesn't get much easier. You just wire the switch to short the common with one of the other two wires.
