Possible OCD infinite buy glitch.

I don't know how it works, but apparently you can buy a car an infinite amount of times from the OCD. What I did:

I had bought almost everything from the current OCD, including the VW Karmann Ghia Coupe, then switched my save over to a new PS3. After buying the Ghia Couple (which I bought after 2 other cars), I noticed it was still purchasable. I bought it again, and it's still purchasable. I did not get into any car.

This glitch may or may not be convenient. If it works because I've used two PS3's, then it will be hard to do for most. If it could somehow be triggered using 1 PS3, it could prove useful for those who like to have a normal copy and tuned copy of a car, along with different car colors.

It works for the Mini Marcos too. It might work for everything but the top two cars.

So far I'm able to buy a seemingly unlimited amount of everything besides the Golf GTI and Spitfire.
 
I had that too - except I was able to buy everything except the Golf multiple times. It was also due to a two PS3 thing, but I honestly don't know why or what I did to generate that result.
 
It's because it's locked to your PS3 hardware ID & 1x per account. ;)

You can buy the OCD cars per PS3 & per account only once.

If you have 2 PS3's & you move your savegame over to your 2nd PS3, then you can buy the cars again. But only once per PS3 for the same account.
If you have multiple accounts, you can buy the cars multiple times, but only once per account on the same PS3 & they are all in the same color on every of your accounts.

I don't have a 2nd PS3, but I guess that you can get the cars on the 2nd PS3 again & in other colors as on your 1st PS3. The "locked color selection" is also locked to your PS3 hardware ID.
Means if you have multiple accounts on your PS3, they are only available in the same color, on all of your accounts. But on your 2nd PS3 there is a other "locked color selection",
so you can buy the cars again there & in other colors.

So, it's not a glitch. It's only a way to fool the PS3 hardware ID lock. It's the same like the trading limit. :sly:

Nope. On the second PS3 I could buy everything in the OCD an unlimited amount of times (or at least not a limit that I ran into). I bought four Spitfires before I noticed something was amiss.

It's not a case of buying everything in the OCD on one PS3 once and then once again on a second PS3 - I've been doing that for months. It's a case of being able to buy everything in the OCD on one PS3 once and then an unlimited amount of times on the second PS3.

But I'm not just buying the OCD twice. I'm buying cars from the OCD repeatedly, with no limit. The OCD limits you to one buy per PS3. The glitch is that the one buy limit has disappeared (for all but 2 cars).

I bought 5 Superbirds (among other cars) from the same OCD, on one PS3.
 
Now that's really strange. :)

I assume that it saves some of the "limititation infos" in the savegame & when you move your savegame over to your 2nd PS3 it will mess up your savegame & basically eliminate the limit with it.

It's good if you want to get 2 of the same car with 0 miles and/or in different colors on one account, but that's it. No need to buy more as 2 of the same car in the same color.
The only reason I could think of doing this is if you buy 6x the same 0 mile car & put all 6 online in your online garage to annoy people, f.e. 6x Audi R8 LMS (Team Playstation). :lol:

But it's a blessing if you have a armada of PS3's & you are a 0 mile/different color cars collector. 👍


Sadly I have only 1 PS3 & can't test it out. :indiff:
 
This worked for me after I tried the borrow glitch.👍 The entire ocd was purchasable again even though I'd bought the whole thing before I copied cars over.
 
I can confirm that this is working, however i have not done the borrow glitch.
i have access to two ps3's and for the last 3 or 4 ocd's i have been doing this to get different colours where available......but this limitless purchasing glitch i have only noticed on this current ocd
