Essentially, a supposed R* dev by the name of of TweedyCrowd727, has been spotted testing the game on Xbox Live.

And screenshots have been apparently posted, of which I will post:

And what might be the smoking gun in all of this, the 'My Xbox Live Games' logo:

My opinion? This looks pretty credible, but there has been some pretty good fakes before. The Reddit thread says it's a remaster, but that's high unlikely, considering that the top screenshot has a pretty different HUD and UI design compared to MCLA, alongside a new redesigned logo.

As a result, I guess it's a wait and see approach to see if Rockstar responds or not.
 
Man, this is some of the best news I've heard in days. But somehow I'm worried. The lightning, car model and UI look very crude in my opinion (could be improved closer to launch) and I'm not entirely sure, but isn't Xbox Live Games where the arcade-y games end up? I'm worried this just might end up being a small scope game.
 
Looks like a phone game so it might be some Xbox live arcade job, shame. Certainly doesn't look like a remaster of MCLA.
 
I hope this is not a fake images but I got feelings that it does.

I have been waiting for years to play the next Midnight Club and Bully 2, even more so than RDR2. I miss messing around the city with my friends and so on.

Seeing those pics make me think it's a fake.

Someone even managed to recreate that Skyline pic with a different car.

Also that Skyline reminded me of the Skyline car model that Forza uses.
 
Don't game developers have specialised consoles and accounts specifically for game development? I don't think anyone would be using a personal account on a game that isn't even announced.
 
The game's "art" is pretty much like a mobile game, and I feel somebody is using a mobile game that already exists. Those models do actually remind me of a drifting game I've played. So it's 90% possibility of being fake.

I can already picture the special abilities (Agro, EMP, Zone, or Roar) being locked out of a paywall.

Or worse some DUB Edition cars (if they ever make those cars) can only be bought through MTs.

But then again this might only happen if Midnight Club does return.
