I've always been a huge fan of the Ruf RGT, and it's always hated me for all my trouble.
The GT6 physics in particular seem to despise the RR layout and crazy stock weight distribution for all the Ruf's, and painfully for the RGT as well.
Long story short, after a bit of trial and error, I may have stitched together a little starter tune for the RGT which makes it pretty drivable. My series target was the "10-minute Races" in the International B stage, so that kind of dictated the PP numbers, but hopefully others will find this helpful in other series as well.
Body: Stage 3 weight reduction
Carbon Fiber hood (body color)
-then all 200kg of ballast @ -50 (It'll get you to perfect 50/50.)
Drivetrain: customizable-LSD
Triple-plate clutch
- Initial Torque: 20
- Acceleration & Braking: stock (40/20)
Transmission: 6-speed upgrade
Suspension (Full Customizable):
Setting Front Rear
Spring Rate: 4.6 8.5
Camber 1.4 0.8
Racing Brakes: 6 4
(All other settings stock)
Power:
98.0%
Engine Tune : Stage 2
Sports Computer
Semi-racing Exhaust
Isometric Exhaust manifold
Intake Tuning
Too much throttle in corners and it'll still eat your lunch, but it's certainly much more drivable than before (at least according to my driving style, which tends to be a bit ham-fisted). Ah well. Hopefully this'll help any other frustrated RGT fans out there!
