Possible speed and rebuffo anomaly in the GT7 Daily Race B on PS4
I want to report a behavior that I am experiencing exclusively in the Daily Race B of Gran Turismo 7 on PS4.

My best time against the clock is 2:19,500, while during the races I am recording approximately 2:25 per lap.

My main concern is that, even when I get a good corner start and try to take advantage of the rebuff of the car in front of me, I feel like I lose ground on the straights instead of getting closer. I also notice a considerable difference between the behavior I experience against time and the behavior I perceive during online races.

I have a recording of a race as evidence and I request that it be investigated if there is any anomaly related to the rebufo, the performance of the vehicles or the specific conditions of this test.

The problem occurs in the Daily Race B and I have not observed the same behavior in the other daily races.

I would appreciate it if other players could check if they experience something similar and that the responsible team could review the case.

Platform: PS4.

Mode: Sport, Daily Race B.

It's better in general to post some kind of footage which the other members can look at to correctly diagnose your issue.

You can use the PS4s built-in recording function to save and export any duration of gameplay, so upload to Youtube and share the video here.

I don't really know what I'm supposed to be watching in that off-screen recording - as already noted, the PS4 records everything it sees anyway, so there's no need to film your screen especially when you miss bits of it - but in addition:

I have the replay of the race, I couldn't upload the file because it was delayed a long time I wanted to make it as visible as possible so that they could help me understand what is happening, not that they can fix the problem, if you look well in the video you can see that in the first lap on the straight I lose a lot of speed and I don't take any rebuff just like in the other laps, honestly you can appreciate how the other cars go faster even if I'm stepping on the accelerator, I really want you to help me understand why it happens to me, I only ask for opinions I want to know how to act in the face of this, Thanks to those who take the trouble to read and watch the video

I'll try to see if I can upload the official video from my ps4, I did it that way because it was much easier for me, I hoped they would be able to see what was happening just by watching that video, I swear it's in the only daily that this happens to me in the other races I'm doing very well and the truth is that it's something very strange

Yes, I saw. I'm just wondering why you chose to add extra and inferior steps by filming your screen instead of using the PS4's inbuilt functions that I've also linked you to.

That suggests you have connectivity issues, which may well explain the observations below.

Gran Turismo 7, it seems, follows in the fine traditions of GT Sport, GT6, GT5, and even GT5P in being a bit sensitive to network environments. A connection that's fine one day (or hour) might be ropey the next, and while there's a lot of things that might be out of your control, the best way to improve your experience is to make sure the bits that you can control are as good as they can be.

You don't need much technical knowledge at all to optimise your own network environment and make it as stable and friendly as possible. Here's a quick guide to doing so which will resolve many...

That's down to connectivity issues, which may not necessarily be at your end - but a good rule is that if it looks like it's everyone else, it's you.

I can't see anything that would suggest you're losing speed or not getting a slipstream.

Only in daily B these paranormal things happen to me, and in the other races I do very well!! So the truth is I don't think it can be my internet, honestly I have it directly with cable to the router so that there are no failures, will there be any option that you recommend so that this does not happen to me anymore

Yes, few people ever do. Nonetheless, that'd be what I recommend doing first, not lease of which because it's entirely within your control and takes about five minutes.

Also don't forget when you're flipping between your opponents' cars that you're only seeing what your console saw, which includes the effects of latency. You''re not seeing what they're actually doing.

As mentioned by others, it just looks like some internet lag on the straits; so while it may look like you are in slipstream range on your end, in reality you're farther from the cars in front than you think. Like @Famine said, check your internet efficiency
