Possible to do a Used car dealership online?

I wonder if PD could make a UCD online, where if you sell your car it will pop up in the dealership for all to buy? Perhaps updated once a day or even more often. I know you can trade, but i think it would be easier to buy one and easier to find the car you seek.

The ultimate of course is if the car you buy could have a history of owners too and perhaps a little info on races won online and so on...just for making the car more alive. I guess all tuned cars would come that way too so a good tuned racecar could go on bid for the highest payer to get.
 
What a great idea! I'm sure a lot of other people will agree with me. Having said that, I don't mean to burst your bubble but I'm pretty sure it will never happen -- PD is focused on other projects right now, and it appears they are not listening to any fan feedback or comments/requests. Not sure how much they ever listened anyway...

It's funny because when I first started the game, very shortly after release, I thought the OCD was a dealer that snatched up the best cars that Players sold.. :p

This is a great idea, and I think they should make it like the Fifa Ultimate Team system where there is a market and a (fairly) stable economy.
That way people could make money through trading and winning races. Also people who do custom paint jobs or upgrades will be able to sell their cars for higher prices.

This is a fabulous idea and would be amazing in GT6, especially if they really worked hard on the customisability of cars (livery,tuning etc.) so that people would always be able to search for fresh additions to their garages.
 
Good Idea, but I think it will never be implemented in gt5..Could may be in the GT6.
It would be a good way of players have easy money.

I havent played Diablo III yet, but there is a ingame shoppingsystem where people can buy/sell characters, weapons and so on for real. I think this type of things are coming to stay. Sony could profit of it too, like appleshop, they can get a bit of the revenue.
Anyway, perhaps its not possible in GT5, but totally a must in GT6. Perhaps it will even become like a secondary game where some good racers will race and get cars from "investors" and if you are more into economy then you buy/sell cars, create teams that earn money and compete for real. Would become something really special.
