I've noticed a massive reduction in the battery endurance of the standard Hyundai N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo (not the Gr.1 version).

I compared an older replay in Suzuka from before December 2025 with a recent test under comparable conditions:

Parameter:
  • Power: 556 kW in both the earlier and current run
  • Fuel consumption multiplier: 8x in both runs
  • Battery charge remaining after one lap at Suzuka: 76% earlier, 23% now

This represents approximately 3.2 times the previous energy consumption per lap.

Update 1.65 included a correction to the electric motor power calculation for this vehicle, while update 1.69 adjusted its power restrictor behavior.

Could you please investigate whether either change unintentionally affected the vehicle's battery consumption or usable capacity?

The Hyundai previously had sufficient endurance to compete in longer prototype races. Its current energy consumption makes this completely impossible.

I'm personally pretty sad about this change too as someone that occasionally used it for gr1 prototype events (during weeklies) to use something different in them

A similar thing is also happening to the Audi e-tron VGT (non-Gr.1) in 1.71. The stickied comment in this video below notes at the time it had 300kWh battery against 400kW motor power; my guess is that the motor power was increased but the battery kWh was kept the same.

For courtesy I've posting the data from said comments here (this did not have the Hyundai one):
  • Model 3 has a 82kWh battery & 397kW total motor power (~= 12 minutes 20 seconds)
  • Model S has a 85kWh battery & 306kW total motor power (~= 16 minutes 40 seconds)
  • BMW i3 has a 18.8kWh battery & 125kW total motor power (~= 9 minutes)
  • Taycan has a 93kWh battery & 560.52kW total motor power (~= 10 minutes)
  • Jaguar VGT SV has a 100kWh battery & 1000kW total motor power (~= 6 minutes)
  • Porsche VGT has a 87kWh battery & 790kW total motor power (~= 6 minutes 35 seconds)
  • VW ID.R has a 60kWh battery & 500.2kW total motor power (~= 7 minutes 10 seconds)
  • Audi e-tron VGT has 300kWh battery & 400kW total motor power (~= 45 minutes) [before the readjustment]

It mostly matches your findings but a few are different:
I suspect aerodynamic drag might be a large factor as to why the i3, VW ID.R & Porsche VGT to be "out of order" [in the test video] compared to calculations from the data.
